I live in California but always dream of living in the mountains or back east. Maine preferrably. but Tahoe most likely. I have a hundred pound dog whom i adore and i'd say vice-versa but he's very selfish. : ) i think i did that. I don't eat meat anymore because factory farming is destroying our lives. And, of course, I don't think animals like to be eaten.

Your nails look way better than mine. Even the f*cked up one you took a picture of. Waaaay better. I keep my short and functional and almost never polish them. If I do, guaranteed as soon as I stroke the last bit of colour on my pinkie nail, I have to pee. I have yet to master pulling my pants down without smudging my polish. I suppose I could manicure in the nude.
I do the same thing.
As a general rule, my nails rip and tear and always look horrible. In the rare occaision that they actually grow out some, I try to paint them pretty and I eventually gave up on trying to do the french manicure myself because I eff up the right hand so badly. Its not much better when I go with solid colors though.
i just gave myself a french pedicure a couple weekends ago and my toes don't look half as good as even your "bad" finger...but i blame it on the fact that the baby was kicking me the whole time i was hunched over my feet!
