King Kong-less
I hated this movie. It insulted my intelligence. Now, now...i know all about entertainment for the sheer fun of it; but, PLEASE!! This was so ludicrous I couldn't let it go.
But i tried, becuase i left the theater. I left for other reasons though. I can't handle any animal pain whatsoever and they really do make you love Kong. I know he's fictional but this is how we would handle a situation like this. Like ET. Fictional, yet i know if that ever happened, we'd treat the alien as horribly as they did ET.
Peng stayed and i'm happy to say he found it as ridiculous as i did and even more incredulous that it got such RAVE reviews! Why do i always hate movies that critics adore! (minus Harry Potter, of course)
They, most definitely, could have shaved a full hour off this movie....

I figured that movie would suck.
How many times has it been done?
Now a movie about Giant Gorrilla who gets revenge on man for destroying his habitat by flattening cities with his giant flying poo........
That would be a movie I would see.

no hate mail from me--i totally agree!!! jon made me go see it with him saturday (when i SHOULD have been studying for finals) . . . i could have done without the bug scene and the dino chase was waaaayyyy too long . . . silly silly movie. i do like that one guy though (the guy from the pianist).
in other news: it snowed in portland yesterday!
what i mean is naomi watts and adrien brody are beautiful . . . but the movie was lame.
absolutley!! I agree! they were both very beautiful but it was just way too much of a stretch. and during the brontasaurus thing i was like MOVE TO THE SIDE!!!

although our weather was pretty cool too. major thunder, wind and downpour....love it!

every time that one guy from "billie elliot" was on king kong i was like "no son of mine is going to be in the ballet!" (have you seen that show?
crap! you're good! i did see that movie and had no idea he was in king kong...
now that was a good movie!
i really do like that movie too! jamie bell is growing up . . . he's probably legal now . . heh.
