I live in California but always dream of living in the mountains or back east. Maine preferrably. but Tahoe most likely. I have a hundred pound dog whom i adore and i'd say vice-versa but he's very selfish. : ) i think i did that. I don't eat meat anymore because factory farming is destroying our lives. And, of course, I don't think animals like to be eaten.

FINALLY followed my dream of moving back east...Bought a beautiful 1876 schoolhouse with lots of hope of renovating it in to a beauty. DISCLAIMER: I usually have no idea what I am doing so this is just for entertainment purposes only. Follow my steps at your own peril.

Saw it. So depressing. I tried talking about it with some people here in TN and they had no idea what an electric car ever existed. I remember when they first came out all of these stores and shopping centers installed charging stations. I really thought that they would become the norm. I honestly never imagined that the total opposite (SUV's) would have occured.
It will happen-just not anytime soon. As the world runs out of oil, or it becomes cost prohibitive to use gas the way we do now, things will change.
Though I love the thought of electric cars the reality is electric cars would cause serious problems.
We don't even have the power infrastructure to run everyone's AC in the summer; let alone everyone plugging their cars in at night.
Not to mention, we'd need more power plants and most of the new power plants being built are powered by coal or natural gas.
