Don't anyone worry about me...
...just because i was on my death bed the last two days...i'll be fine.
When i went to see my mom, i asked her to teach me to knit. Since knitting seems to be the 'in' thing...well, it was the 'in' thing a while ago.
anyway, she taught me to knit and knit i did. A grand ol' scarf....
I like to call this "The Tumor"
That was using size 7 needles with and an 11 every 4th row...it sucked.
but WAIT! i used the 11's and made the most beautifullest scarf....
just check out these colors...
pretty, huh?
okay...off to catch up!

yayayayayayaaaa mama, you're growing up to be just like me!!!!! :D
nice...I'll take a sweater in large.
looks like you're an official stitchin' bitch. brava!
I would have never pegged you as a knitter. Must be synthetic yarn,'cuase I never saw a sheep in those colors!
Wow! You sure picked it up fast.. I am not too good at knitting..
Remember, a stitch in time.... blah blah blah. Knitting, I think, is still sorta in although my wife would have you believe that the tide has turned to sewing as she admires her new quilt.
I must be a girl that's ahead of the times. I used to knit in the 80's & 90's. I did sweaters, mitts, hats, baby things for friends & family who had babies, etc. I haven't made a thing in about 8 years. Right around the time I got serious with Jim. Hmmm.......do you suppose there's a connection?
TK, your scarves look great! The blue one is especially pretty. But wait. You live in California. Do you need a scarf there?
sheesh, i want to knit! think your mom'll teach me also? better yet, will you knit me a brown scarf? :o)
i don't even know how to sew on a button ...
good job!
i thought that blue thing was a pair of pants. fuzzy, knitted pants. it made me laugh. but then i sadly read that it was a scarf.
good job! i am quite impressed.
i tried to knit and started with hats. the first was too small. the second too big. adn then i quit.
i know, goldie locks and the three bears warrants that the next hat should be just right . . . but meh.
I'll take a scarf in pink, please!
Great job on the scarf. I tried to learn to knit some time agao.... let's just say I don't have a scarf.
Hope you are feeling better!
Nice knitting job! Wish I could knit!
that was funny Dori...and for all those that WANT scarves, simply email me with your address and i'll do it. i will.
um, no sweaters though...and that did look like pants...heeey...that'd be cool. knitting my own pants!
