My next nutty quest...

...will be a half marathon.

that's right. Fatty ol' me is going to run 13.1 miles on May 3, 2008 and my first training day is Saturday, 1/5/08 at 8:30am. That means no happy (four) hour Friday night on 1/4.

poo.

guess I've got two weeks to do it up! my favorite time of ever is the last day of anything: Last day before diet, last day before quit drinking, last day before going back to work....

I just now stumbled across your blog....I saw you left a comment on another blog and followed the link....and holy hell, you are hilarious! (In a good way, of course.) I love that you seem so down to earth and real. You are added to my favourites list right away, fer sure!
PS: Good luck with the training....I start training Jan 4 for a gruelling multi-day hike, meself. (Jan 3 is my birthday....you simply can't be good until your birthday is over...right?

OK, TK. We've been pals for quite a while now. Sometimes you're a little kooky, but I've been called weird and strange my whole life, so I actually think you're pretty normal. But seriously. Sister to sister - I think you've flipped your lid. Do you realize that May 3 is a Saturday? You're running on a Saturday? Just be careful. If you bounce around too much, you'll spill your drink. That would be a tragedy!

Seriously though, good luck!! Kudos to you for attempting such a feat. I'm old and falling apart so I can't run. My one knee is pretty much shot. It's actually noisy when I bend it. Sounds like crackling leaves. Delightful!! And my back is totally f*cked. All that pounding would kill me. Are you going to try running with Kody. I see a lot of people running with their dogs. It makes me very jealous because I can't do that. I pretend I'm actually Carrie from the movie and try to make them trip and fall down by using just the powers of my mind, but it never works.
GOOD LUCK!! And Merry Christmas to you & Kody!!

Merry Christmas, Tanya Kristine! Did Santa bring you new cross-trainers? Someday I'll post about drinking a six-pack the night before I did the only mini Triathalon I was ever in....

Let's compare notes. Happy New Year, TK!
