ouch...
i just burnt my protruding belly on the fresh-out-of-the-oven cookie pan whilst unloading cookies.
if that's not perfect irony, i don't know what is...

I live in California but always dream of living in the mountains or back east. Maine preferrably. but Tahoe most likely. I have a hundred pound dog whom i adore and i'd say vice-versa but he's very selfish. : ) i think i did that. I don't eat meat anymore because factory farming is destroying our lives. And, of course, I don't think animals like to be eaten.

Laughing my arse off, TK!
I think the same thing happened to me when I was about 23. I was in a bikini laying out at my parents' house and was also baking cookies (how talented i was!) and, well, you can imagine... I still have the scar on my stomach after all these years!
Sorry that happened to you!!
obviously your cookie sheet is way to large.
hahahahaaaa...that was funny Autumn.
oh Teddy...it actually wasn't that bad. my pride was more hurt than my skin!
i can't believe Kleo that my injury was that common!! HA!~ who knew!!!
(i'll be posting pix of our mendocino trip tnoight...yay!)
ouch. hope the cookies weren't burnt as well. :)
you got me laughing! looking forward to mendocino trip pictures. :o)
I've done that. have a scar to prove it! :(
Ouch! I hate burns, they hurt so bad. Almost as much as paper cuts.
i once dropped a oven mitt into the oven while taking out cookies and it CAUGHT ON FIRE!
i had to take it out with metal tongs, drop it in the sink and turn the cold water on . . .
scary!
Really funny! Sorry to hear though! I burnt my arm and hands with ovens often before and the signs never go away. and it is very painful!
