aww...
i hate to move that post down. but, alas, life is about moving on.
i was reeeeeeally sick yesterday. i had like 4 drinks on sunday and it fried my brain. or maybe it's the medication i am now on...they did not like each other and they 'had it out' in my head.
BUT while i had those 4 drinks i made a bunch of pesto to tame my super basil bush. i made vegan witha vengeances' tomato pesto with my homegrown tomatoes, Dreena's sun dried tomato pesto and her Walnut basil pesto. it was wonderful comfort food for yesterday but i have to say Dreenas asparagas with cilantro dish was aMAZING! so light; so simple. i tried to save some for Kevin but couldn't do it.
i'm watching season 3 of 24 and it's VERY stressful. i'm so gay.
it's like 180 here in sac-town. i rode my bike in and that's fine for the morning but i hope i don't die on the way home.
okay...off to catch up on everyone elses life...i love blogger.

hang in there in the heat. It's 100 here today, but my trip to India earlier this spring has strangely acclimated me. Everyone is sweating and I am just fine.

I love 24.. my oldest son and I watch it all the time. We have tivo'd all the old episodes and during the winter we had a sunday where we sat on the couch and watched 8 hours of it. Sad, but true!

Hey- I made another batch of the VwaV sundried tom pesto today, I can't get enough ot it. My basil isn't doing too well. It's in the house, but it was in the window and it's 100 degrees. Kinda wilty. I'll have to try some of Dreena's pesto recipes next.

shanani - i had a positive TB test when i was 11. so did my mom. but none of our other 6 family members did so they assumed we were just alelrgic to the shot. but it sucked and if you ever DO react you can never have another one again...
i love the tomato pesto too karen...for being so simple it's VERY tasty...my basil is in my greenhouse. i think it's too hot in there for her...but she's a beooot!

As if i need more excuses to watch tv...oy. but 24 is great. i get the last disc tonight so i'm just misty-eyed with joy!
