The Fair
Well...I'm embarrassed to admit this but our fair day was totally normal, fun and too short.
I spent $6,180. That included eye shadow, parking, beer, food, and a hot tub. I tried to buy a horse for $200 but the owner was such an asshole about it. Saying something about that's how much the hay costs or some crap like that. I left without counter offering.
It's absolutely exhausting walking & drinking in that heat all day too hence the early departure. We got there around noonish and left around 8. you'd think 8 hours was enough but not for me. And i gained 4 pounds for all that fun. kinda worth it.
I want to go again but i've sworn off alcohol until i'm a size 6. I might miss 3 fairs at that commitment.

I had always wondered if people actually bought goods sold at the fair -- particularly hot tubs -- and now I know.
congrats again on the tub. that 4 lbs is alcohol retention. :) you'll get it back lower. You knew this would happen. Hang tough sister! xxoo

Um I do need to hear about the Fair food you ate. Corn dog, Elvis sandwhich, deep fried twinkie, onion rings ???fess up I want to hear all the fat fried details mmmmmmm
you got a hot tub....very cool! We almost got one at the fair last year, I wish we would have now. I can't wait to hear how you like it.

I offended someone the other day when I referred to the California State Fair as the Annual White Trash Convention.

Everyone wants to hear about the hot tub. I want to hear about the EYESHADOW! Take a picture of it, then take a picture of you wearing it. Oh!Oh!Oh!! Even better, take a picture of you wearing it.....in the hot tub. SWEEEEEET!

$6,180.00??? I am hoping for $40.00tops. I just resent paying $9.00 for beer, but I have no problem paying $5.00 for a green chili soft taco...yum! I can't wait to go.

Hot tub is awesome. I need one of those for sure, my back has been killing me lately. I'm getting old I think.

Doctors have told me, again and again --via internet, that its very important to drink wine. (mmm...by one glass I think they mean a really big one) You don't want to hurt your health, do you?
