San Fran....again!
I never get sick of this city. Ever. This time I was joined by mi amiga Janita and her lovely girl, Betsy. Here they are eagerly awaiting a fun day ahead!
We got to SF around noon and started our walk. that would take us to 7:30. But don't think we didn't stop for a few libations along the way which took about 2.5 hours. So we really walked for 5 hours. And i feel it today...
the first thing we see are the Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill. I always get excited everytime i hear or see them...(look veeeery closely)
We decided to head to Little Italy becuase it's great. Our first stop, however, is an Irish pub...oh well.
Then we continued on. Seemingly straight up.
Some how we seem to find the hills that go up and not too many that go down. but no matter...we needed to work out anyway.
this is just a cool pix:
and a stop for "coffee"
Two tired doggies on the way home : )
(this one is funny becuase Kody is so big and i no longer have an SUV he really doesn't have anywhere to lay comfortably. so he'd pathetically place his big head on the armrest and fall asleep! i was worried he'd snap his neck if we went over a bump! poor baby...someday kody..momma will get an suv)

lol - awesome photos. Glad you had fun in SF. I was at the beach.
Fun girl, you seem to have the hang of it!
sweet shots...
You are lucky to live close enough to SF for a day tripper - what an awesome city! Love your photos, especially of Kody & friend sacked out at the end. :o)
What a great city, great day and great doggies. You sure pooped them out. Love the before and after photos.
Nice pictures, nice blog. I will be back for more -0-0-
Aww, so adorable!
Love the pics. I wish my dog had the social skills to go out for a day in the city and bar hopping.
That is a great picture of the doggie between the car seats.
what a fun day! the first think jon and i did when we got to SF was to dump our stuff in the youth hostel and then we climbed nob hill to sit by the fountain near the catheldral. we had thai food on the way back down.
i FELT it the rest of the week! those hills really rock!
i had to stop and rest one time on the way up that hill toward that big phallic symbol monolith thing . . . :)
beautiful city.
i am going to be in california sept 12-18. flying into oakland and spending time with friends in livermore until their wedding on the 15th - then my schedule is pretty free until i fly home on the 18th . . . hmmmm? what say you?
what a lovely jaunt with the pups. and of course the first stop would be an irish pub?! lol! i'm going to california in a few months!! you must tell me the best irish pub to go in the state. haha.
My friend Michelle (I think we're kindred spirits) took a trip to San Fran last year with her beau to 1- visit her bro who is going to Stanford & 2-visit the beau's aunt who lives in San Fran. She loved it too. Waaaa! I want to goooo!
I love how O'Reilly's is on Green St. And I loved all your photos, especially Kody between the seats.
I'm ashamed to admit that of all the times I've been to the city (countless), I've never been to see the Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill.
It was great meeting you and Janet last night!
SF always seems to have that weather!
